Rosie Baldonado was born and raised in New Jersey. She started dancing when she was 3 years old. She danced recreationally and competitively through high school.
In 1997, she moved back to Los Angeles to attend Occidental College where she continued to dance and ran track. She graduated from Occidental College in 2001 and attended UCLA to pursue a Masters Degree. Rosie realized that although she loved her academic pursuits, she truly missed dance and wanted to get back to "moving". Rosie believes she truly started her dance training when she met her dance teacher and mentor, Paula Morgan in 2003. It was during this period of time that she got certified in Pilates at Long Beach Dance Conditioning.
Rosie has been a certified Pilates Instructor since 2003 and a GYROTONIC® Instructor since 2004. She is also a certified pre-natal and post partum Pilates instructor. Rosie continues to study with world renowned dance teachers and incorporates this work into her training. She is also helping to develop the Teacher Training Program for the Paula Morgan Technique. Rosie has been working with Dr. Evans since 2004. Within her Pilates and GYROTONIC® practice, Rosie focuses on therapeutic exercise, pre- and post-natal work, core work and flexibility training.
